Tools for an evolving inquiry
As part of my doctorate, I built a custom tool with Claude Code to assess inference resolution across generative workflows. I also connected Astra and Miro to create a working visual repository that will inform some of the material used in the inferential resolution map.
Making the inquiry inspectable
The mapping prototype brings tool records and source information into a visual interface. The early interface includes search, editable record fields, and CSV export controls. It is a research instrument under development.
The current proposal distinguishes determination—how supplied direction governs production of a result—from editability, or the working state available for direct revision. These distinctions concern operations and aspects of work, including differences within an application.
The visual repository
The Astra–Miro workbook brings visual material together in a working repository. Its intended role is to support the records and comparisons developed through the inquiry. Material from the workbook will feed part of the map’s data.
Current status
The image above documents the August 2026 prototype under an earlier mapping scheme. Its displayed coordinates and entries are provisional, and should not be read as validated measurements under the revised framework.
The tool and workbook support a dissertation in development. Their creation is distinct from the findings that may emerge through the research.
